Votive festivals, and village traditions

These patronal festivals take place all year round, but more particularly in the summer.
Depending on the city and town, their duration is from 2 to 3 days up to 10 to 12 consecutive days.

Camargue traditions at the heart of the festival, with respect for animals

The program is generally full, and the manades or Camargue bull rearing farms can compete : the show is provided by the herdsmen and their horses (preferably Camargue breed), the Camargue bulls being the stars. The abrivado, bandido, encierro, Camargues races which follow one another during the season are friendly and often spectacular festivities.

The must : The Gaze (abrivado and bandido in the Vidourle river), as well as the release of dozens of mares and foals, always on secure courses.
